Case Study No:1 Small Commercial Property
We were asked by the proprietor to visit these two small commercial neighbouring properties in NI with a view to submitting a competitive tender price to remove the damaged Asbestos Insulating Boards (AIB) to the ceiling of the paint store and the partition walls of the carpet warehouse. The Paint store was enclosed in polythene sheeting before the stock which consisted of tins of paint was cleaned and decanted to a temporary store. The ceiling was then carefully removed in line with the current regulations and disposed of at a licenced waste site. The store was environmentally cleaned before being handed over to the client for reoccupation. A similar procedure and set up arrangement was implemented to the partition walls at the Carpet Shop. The works in both premises were carried out on time while the two businesses were still operating with no disruption to staff or customers.
Case Study No:2 Domestic Property
AES Marconi were asked to visit a domestic property in NI to supply a competitive price for the removal of asbestos from a roof space. AES Marconi were awarded the work and the contents of the roof space along with the pipe insulation and roof space insulation were carefully double bagged and placed into a lockable asbestos waste container. The roofspace was then environmentally cleaned and a certificate of reoccupation was issued following the completion of the works. The work was carried out on time and budget with minimal disruption to the home owner.
